Guild history and reasons for leaving:
Was in a 10man guild on Tich that broke up, I took a free transfer and went to Death Wish on Agamaggan, I stayed there till the GM took a break for real life issues and the guild basically went bad. I then went to Apotheosis, where I became an officer, the GM left and drama ensued, it got too stressful and I left. I'm currently in Orc Splitters 101, but I'm not happy there.

Play time availability: I've got pretty open availability and can make all of your raid times.

Do you have Ventrilo and, ideally, a microphone? Yes I have vent and use it

Do you have a reliable internet connection? Yes, I have a cable internet connect that very very rarely goes out.

Raid experience, in vanilla, BC, and in WLK (include how much of the instance you've seen and which guilds you raided with): I came late to the game, at least in my opinion, I leveled up late during BC, hit 80 during the first few months of Wrath and began raiding right away. I've done all of Naxx on 10 and 25, most of Uld on 10 and 25, TOC 10, TOC 25, ToGC10 and 2/5 in ToGC25. I've full cleared ICC on 10 and 25, and have done 7/12 HM ICC10.

Also, please answer the following questions in a few sentences or so:

1. Cenarius has many excellent raiding guilds. Why are you choosing to app to DE, instead of any other guild on the server? What are your goals in DE? Why should we tag you and what qualifies you to be in DE? (Note to server transfers: answer this question particularly thoroughly)
I found about your guild in a thread on the realm forums, another Demo Lock was looking for a guild, and someone from your guild invited him to app. The reasons I'm choosing to app with your guild are pretty easy, you do currently need a warlock and have the amount of progression I'm currently looking for. I'm a consistent competent raider and I'm really looking for a guild that actually needs me. You fit that bill. I've also grown quite tired of my current low population realm, there are very few raiding guilds left, and the economy is suffering. Its, honestly, not a very fun place to be.

2. What do you use as your secondary spec (you do have one, right?), and how do your talent choices in that spec potentially benefit the raid? Which of the roles are you mainly interested in - would you possibly be interested in taking different roles within a raid depending on encounter? Do you have the gear to support this second spec?
I'm currently main spec demonology, its by far my favorite spec and brings a nice raid buff. My secondary spec is currently Destruction, specifically shadowfury+soul link, mostly for 10man hard modes. I am quite capable of playing all three specs but choose these two for what they bring to the raid as a whole.

3a. What stats and criteria do you use when gemming your gear - do you always, sometimes, or rarely satisfy socket bonuses? I research my gear, gemming and enchanting quite a lot. I have sim craft installed and probably use it way too much. I meet socket bonuses only when they are 5 or more spellpower. Otherwise I gem for spellpower.


3b. What are two things you could do *outside of raids* to improve your character and really make your Armory profile stand out from someone of the same class and progression?
Again, I think its fair to say I do quite a bit of research, on EJ, Warlocks Den, and through simcraft.

3c. What two non-set, non-weapon items from Icecrown-25 are best for your class and main spec, and why? In my opinion, I'd say that would be trinkets, Dislodged Foreign Object and Phylactery of the Nameless Lich. As a Demo Lock, my main goal is not my own personal dps but the amount of spellpower my Demonic Pact provides the raid, thereby increasing the total raid dps. These two trinkets provide the most passive spellpower bonus.

4. Raiding requires a certain mentality and attitude towards approaching a fight. Are you able to take criticism and suggestions about your spec, gear, or play, and are you able to learn to change or adjust accordingly? Are you able to critically look at a given attempt and see what went wrong, and what could be improved? Do you show up with a positive attitude, a willingness to cooperate with your peers, and the required consumables and knowledge of the fights ahead?
Yes, absolutely, I have no problem at all taking criticism or adjusting anything about the way that I play. I try my best to be the best at what I do. I enjoy raiding more than any other aspect of the game and wish to further improve my game. I don't know anyone in the guild, but Syvere does know me, and has raided with me a great deal. He, for one, can attest to the type of raider I am.

5. What are our raid times, and what kind of attendance (percentage-wise) can you hold? Did you read and understand the stickies posted in our forums? Your raid times are 6-10:30pm Sun-Thur pst. I've had 100% attendance in all guilds that I've been in over the last year, and see no reason why I wouldn't be able to maintain that.

6. Is there anything else about yourself or your character that you'd like to share (i.e. tradeskills, pvp, special circumstances, anything we left out)? You can see my professions from my profile, both my tailoring and enchanting are maxed. I pvp for fun, but do have a rather nice pvp set (relentless, wrathful).
